Think of the day that needs to be rejoiced most? Birthday? Anniversary? Wedding? Or Christmas? Maybe not…
Remember that Bible tells us about Christ when he gave his own life in the cross for the sake of humanity. He used his blood to take us away from doing sins. That day must be the day to be glad of most, not because we saw Him suffering but because of the great hope he has given to us to have eternal life. A day to remember, a day to cheer of…So instead of saying “today is my birthday”, say “I am living until now because of the Lord”.
