A Monument for The Devil Himself

Monument for the Devil? You may be shocked or skeptical about the thought of it. But a real bronze statue of Satan stands there in Retiro, Madrid, a Catholic country where statues of angels and saints roam elsewhere.
Ricardo Bellver, a 19th century Spanish sculptor thought of breaking the tradition of holy figurines, thus, creating his masterpiece in accordance to a scene in John Milton’s Paradise Lost: the expulsion of Satan in Heaven.
Remarkably, the statue, entitled “The Fallen Angel”, does not depict a Lord of the demons with horns and tails or a bestial being: the typical illustration for Satan.
“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” – Revelations 12:9
Sad to say; only a few know that Satan is the unseen force that brings most of the world’s problem.
“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” – Revelations 12:12
But most of the Bible illustrates him and scholars do not doubt his existence or his influence. Jesus rejected Satan’s bold temptations. He even described him a murderer and the great liar (John 8:44; Matthew 4:1-11).
In times where the world experiences a great depression like it was never before, it is important to stay away from the dirty hands of the furious fallen angels.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7
Meanwhile, those who love truth and justice will find consolation to know that Satan’s fall from heaven is the start of his impending doom.
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” – 1 John 3:8

shopping online Says:
There are several advantages to shopping online, the first one being the ability to shop at a time that is convenient to you, not just when the shops are open. The second advantage of shopping online is that goods are often cheaper as the seller does not have the costs of running a shop and having to pay wages to salespeople, insurance and all of the other running costs of a real world business.

Love Online Dating Says:
My buddy told me about online dating a while back. I need to read up on it a little more. He told me an interesting story about how his brother met his what-would-be-future-wife using an online dating service. His brother says that he and his wife have been extremely compatible and feel like they were destined for each. Aww, hehe.
