The Search Is Over
They say that we were born in this world paired with someone to fill the empty spaces in us. That we are all like a key that only fits to one door, like a casserole only fit to one lid and like a . That we should search for the right pair of shoes to will fit on our feet.
I decided to look for the right person who will complete the missing piece of me. A person who can understand my thoughts and feelings, and who could be patient in my mood swings. And the one who could love me just as I am.
My friends told me to try the night life, so I tried it. Hang-out every Saturday night, bar hopping, party with different girls that comes from different walks of life. Make love to every girl that I have met. Just enjoy the night until the break of dawn.
When I felt tired of it, I tried to do the conventional way. I asked my best friend to set up with me a date and introduced to me to her classmates, friends, and even to her neighbors.
I had many relationships but it all failed because of incompatibility. Some of those relationships made me strong and some almost ruined my whole life. I even try to commit suicide because of depression and misery.
Years quickly passed and I am still lost in search of true love and true happiness. I am sick and tired of meeting and dating girls. I am tired of committing to someone who only uses me as their past time. I am tired of entrusting my heart to someone who in the first place doesn’t understand me.
Suddenly I realized that there is one person who is with me in my search for happiness and affection. She is with me through my ups and downs. She witnessed all the pain and sorrow that I suffered because of loving unconditionally. She patiently waits for me.
