MSI MT-V660: Zune player look-alike
The Taiwan-based company MSI, which is well-known for its computers (mainly), has introduced its most recent portable media player: The MT-V660.
This device seems inspired by the Microsoft Zune HD. This PMP uses a Rockchip RK2806 chipset together with a 3.2-inch display that has a 480×320 resolution. Videos can be also seen on a TV, thanks to the TV-OUT capability that has been included in this MSI device, which is something that the Microsoft Zune HD doesn’t have (although you can use an additional adapter for the Zune HD).
The player is compatible with the following video formats: MKV, AVI, DivX 3/4/5, XviD, H.264, RMVB / RM, MP4, FLV, H.264/H.263, VOB, MPG, DAT, MOV and 3GP. As for audio files, it offers support for MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, WAV and AAC.
