MSI newest pride: Wind12 U230 netbook

msiIn developing feature of technology, the Micro-Star International (MSI) will release a new netbook computer labeled as “Wind12 U230″, or the Wi-Fi Network Device12 U230.
This ultrathin notebook is powered by Microsoft 7 and with the new AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-Core Processor at 1.6GHz which is accompanied by an integrated graphic chipset. Wind12 U230 is said to be the enhanced version of Wind12 U210 notebook that includes 12.1-inch display and has a resolution of 1366×768.

This device was built on the AMD RS780MN + SB710 chipsets and sports an AMD Yukon central processing unit. As far as system memory goes, you can outfit a maximum of 4GB of DDR2 memory at a frequency of 667 or 800MHz.

The standard version features a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, and a Wi-Fi module. In addition, it has a HDMI port, VGA connector, and three USB ports.

Also, it comes with 1GB of RAM that can be optionally increased up to 4 GB and hard drives ranging from 160GB to 320GB.
Other options include three USB 2.0 ports, a LAN port, HDMI and a choice between a three-cell battery and a six-cell battery. In regards to connectivity, there is Wireless 802.11 b/g/n, as well as Bluetooth, which is optional. The four-in-one card reader can handle SD/ MMC/ MS and XD cards. It has a 6-cell battery that is supposed to provide up to 4 hours of battery life.
