The Electronic Guitar shirt

electronicguitarshirt

Impress your friends, co-workers, or perfect strangers on the street or subway when you bust out your rock moves on your shirt.

That’s right, the Electronic Rock Guitar Shirt is a t-shirt with a guitar built right in.

Now you may be thinking, well, it must just be pre-recored music that starts with the touch of a button. But this Guitar Shirt is the real deal. Easier to play than a real guiter, each button on the neck of the pictured guitar is a major chord. When you hook this Electronic Shirt up to the mini amp you can play almost any song anywhere you go. The amp includes a volume control along with a tone knob so you can adjust your sound to sound like a real rock star.

The Electronic Guitar Shirt functions with a magnetic pick that is used to make sound by strumming it across the body just like a real guiter. The sound of the chords is recorded from a real electric guitar making your guitar shirt sound very realistic as well.

Dyson releases City DC26 in the UK

Posted by Tom Nava On January - 22 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

dc26-city-dysonDyson has launched a new vacuum cleaner to the UK market with the introduction of the City DC26 specifically designed for city dwellers that inhabit small spaces.

Initially launched in Japan, Dyson is hoping for sales success for the small scale cleaner considering  that according to its stats, over 90% of Brits are city dwellers with 2.3 million homes in the UK smaller than 50 square metres.

The City cleaner was apparently born from a James Dyson challenge to his engineers to create a cylinder vacuum cleaner small enough to sit on an A4 piece of paper.

The newly launched City DC26 is aimed at studio apartments and other small living areas where full-size vacuum cleaners simply aren’t welcome. It purportedly took five years of development to create a Dyson vac small enough to sit atop an A4 sheet of paper without any overhang, but it’s now available to London’s most cramped citizens for £249.99

Minority Report glove now in reality

CES in Las Vegas-A gadget being revealed that allows you to experience to be Tom Cruise in Minority Report when using your PC.

The film sees characters call up and manipulate video footage and other data in mid-air after donning a special pair of gloves. Now defense company Raytheon, based in Massachusetts, US, has finally refined on a real version of these pair of gloves called Peregrine.

“It is a seamless, customizable input device that you wear on your hand in order to better control increasingly complex real-time strategy and massively multiplayer titles”, says the company trying to explain what the Peregrine actually is.

The system under development at Raytheon lets users don a pair of reflective gloves and manipulate images projected on a panoramic screen. A mounted camera keeps track of hand movements and a computer interprets gestures. “Your hand becomes a Swiss Army knife,” says Underkoffler.

Raytheon plans to offer the technology as a way to sort through large amounts of satellite imagery and intelligence data. But the technology might also have non-military applications, says Stephen Brewster, who is also developing gesture-based computer interfaces at the University of Glasgow, UK.

This glove controller will let you interact with your favorite games by tapping and stroking your fingers. Gamers who add the Peregrine to their arsenal will gain access to more than 30 actions in the palms of their hands, allowing them to command armies and cast spells with speed, accuracy and comfort.

The glove will cost $129.99 and be available in the next couple of months.

Home Sauna for better figure

Posted by Tom Nava On November - 10 - 2009 ADD COMMENTS

saunaThis centuries-old Scandinavian custom of home sauna helps improve circulation, relax muscles, burn calories, relieve arthritic pain, cleanse skin, and relieve stress. Like all true saunas, this model uses hot rocks to create heat.

This unit fits into small spaces, and can be set up in a few hours without the inconvenience of extensive home remodeling. It is made from kiln-dried red cedar and stainless steel hardware.

Relative humidity levels are controlled by the bather sprinkling water on the hot rocks–a gentle method of heat radiation that prevents the uncomfortable “electric toaster” feel of electrically heated saunas.

Breathable, solid wood construction ensures the interior surface temperature is kept low, while delivering penetrating heat that soothes and relaxes. Free air flow design uses natural convection to bring fresh air into the heater from below and to disperse it inside the sauna, promoting quick warm-up time and energy efficiency.

Interactive Robosapien

Posted by Tom Nava On November - 9 - 2009 1 COMMENT

robotStill thinking of the best gift for your love ones this Christmas? Try this up-to-the-minute Robosapien robot that is capable of autonomous behavior and equipped with interactive sensors to recognize objects and respond to sounds.
It responds to touch and sound with advanced sensors like a camera that detects skin tone (hold out your hand, and the robot knows to shake it) and object color (the robot collects blue objects when handed them).
It can be programmed to execute more than 60 different movements, including dancing, exploring, lifting items, or bowling.
The robot has true-to-life bi-pedal walking gaits and realistic double-axis head turns. It can use its sonic and infrared sensors to guard an area (sounding an alarm when motion or sound is detected) and to interact with other Robosapiens.
The robot avoids obstacles intelligently as it walks, and sonic sensors detect sharp noises, responding with a hearty Hey, there! and turning to face the sound.
It can bend and pick up small objects on command, using its precision-gripping, articulated fingers, and then it can throw the object to you.
It requires six D batteries and three AAA batteries for the remote control. It has a height 23 1/2”, width of 16″, 11″ in diameter and weighing 10 1/2 lbs.
