Microsoft: Speak up for a planet-saving climate deal in Copenhagen

GreenPeace calls for Microsoft  to commit in cutting its own absolute carbon emissions now. Microsoft and other tech giants like Google and IBM should also be using their money and influence to speak up for strong international and US Climate legislation. Instead Microsoft is funding the US Chamber of Commerce anti-climate lobbying.

It’s time Microsoft spoke out on climate — and the time is now (no seriously, right now).

Michael Jackson topped Google’s most searched

The late King of Pop Michael Jackson reigned Google’s list of fastest-rising searches this year as seen by Google’s year-end Zeitgeist list, released Tuesday by the search engine. Facebook came second followed by its Spanish counterpart Tuenti and micro-blogging site Twitter.

The popular vampire flick “New Moon”, book from the Twilight Series, came six followed by pop singer Lady Gaga.
